User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsThe food has always been good and the service is great. There always seems to be at least one screaming kid in there, but they can't help that. All in all it is always a good meal for the money.
User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsAverage Mexican Restaurant. Too many loud kids (which is the case for most restaurants around Locust). Service was slow and a fly kept harrassing us the entire meal. The food was decent and we will go back next time we aren't in the mood to drive to Charlotte for Mexican.
User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsI was raised with Mexican food and what Mi Cocina serves is Tex Mex. If I want fake Mexican food I'll just run by Taco Bell and grap a taco, plus it's cheaper. The only thing that is good about Mi Cocina is the service, they are so nice now if they could just cook a little better.
