I am very upset with the service I received at Jones Family Practice. I had a first time appointment with Dr. Love. I made the appointment for 3pm. I showed up at the office at 2:45pm. When I signed in the girl at the desk didn't greet me, she didn't even look up at me. My husband and I were the only two in the waiting room. I thought it was odd that the receptionist didn't give me papers to fill out. After sitting for 10-15 minutes I was called to the desk and told I needed to reschedule. They said my appointment was at 2:30pm. I explained that I had written it down when I made the appointment. I asked if I could still see Dr. Love since I was the only one in the waiting area. She said "no, we are booked". I was sent to the checkout area and the lady there told me the same thing. I tried to explain that I was scheduled for 3pm. She said it was in the "system" for 2:30pm and that I was out of luck. She was very rude also. I told her I was going to go somewhere else and she said that was fine with her. My husband and I went to Shelby Family Practice and we were greeted with a hello and a smile as soon as we walked in the door. When I got home I tried to call back to Jones Family Practice to complain, but the girls at the desk wouldn't let us talk to anyone in charge.
