I'm not sure how to label the cuisine served in this resturant, i suppose it is primarily american-fare with a twist... some very southern-soul-food-like dishes, some typical american-fare dishes. In a word... I would say "GREAT". I enjoyed the Fried green tomatoes over grits. My friend had the oak plank salmon with grilled veggies - excellent. I had the Thai shrimp appetizer and steamed veggies also very tasty - not as good as the salmon or the tomatoes, but still very good. The service was excellent.
I am rating this restaurant a 4/5 because the food was slightly better than average, but the service is what elevated it above the 3.
