User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThis is one of my favorite uptown places to eat. The atmoshere is quaint and historical. The food is great and the staff is very friendly. My boyfriend and I eat there at least once a week! It's a great place to take visitors or try something different. There is also free parking.
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsA great little restaraunt off the beaten path!: AM's is a super place for a casual dinner with some friends or family. There's a great deal of history behind the building and the restaraunt has been in operation for over 20 years.
It's sort of a staple for the area of Charlotte called the Fourth Ward but it's a refreshing change from the hustle and bustle of Uptown. They pretty much just serve beer and hard liquors (you gals won't be able to get 'girly drinks') and they have fairly standard bar fare for food selections. All the prices are reasonable though and the ambience is very charming. I will surely stop in here now and then for a change from typical dining.
Oh, and be careful about sitting in the last booth against the wall. You might not see the individual who likes that spot but he might be there, anyway! :)
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsGreat neighborhood hang out: The food is great, the atmosphere perfect and the location in the heart of 4th Ward couldn't be better. Excellent place for a casual dinner, a date or just drinks after work.
