User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsMy wife and I moved to Mooresville from Dallas, TX last year and were hoping to find a set of favorite restaurants here.
Lotus will not be one of them.
1. Slow/Poor customer service
* Had to find someone to seat us after 5 mins of waiting
* Lunch Menus were tossed onto table (It was dinner time)
* Host walked away even before we were seated
* Waiter was impatient (we were only one of two tables)
2. Poor food quality
* Overcooked
* Heavy on the corn starch
3. Housekeeping
* Several tables had not been bussed
* Our own table had not been cleaned when we were seated
Had this been at a period of high activity, we would have been more understanding. However, it was 5:30 p.m. on a weekday. The service, lack of cleanliness, and overcooked food was unexcusable.
The next time we wish to have Chinese food for dinner, we intend to try elsewhere.-

This is the best Chinese restaurant in Iredell county. Best Scallion Chicken, Beef and Broccoli, etc... Etc.... The best wait staff. The owner and his family take the time to talk and to get to know you. I give it 10 stars if I could...
