What's not to like about the Woodshed - the prime rib is the best across the nation as I've made it my mission to find a prime rib that is better than the one served at the Woodshed and I've traveled extensively to all 50 states and other countries. It's just not going to happen. Salad bar is always FRESH - bleu cheese dressing has huge chunks of bleu cheese and tastes the best of any I've ever had or made myself. Be sure to try the Tomato and Onion sandwich marinated in what is called "Witch's Brew." Have no idea what's in the brew but it sure is a winner. They serve a choice of either sweet potato or Irish potato with your entree along with steak roll and of course, AYCE salad bar. For the amount of food you are served, the price is not exorbitant. My husband and I can both eat for $40.00. I do highly recommend the Queen Ann Cake - several desserts to choose from and yes, they're all homemade - hubby loves the Red Velvet. Awesome. Service has always been exemplary and I've been
going to the Woodshed for 20 yrs. or more. WoodShed is a dining experience not merely a steakhouse, you don't want to miss this one.
Your glass will never be empty-ask
for Hope. She is the best server at any restaurant you will eat at in the Carolinas! The steaks are scrumptious and cooked perfectly. Save room for the strawberry poundcake!Great service and great food.
great atmosphere: Everything has a country look all the way down to the train model that circles the dining area. I recieved my ribeye just the way i ordered, so did the others at the table. On the salad bar they have a great sandwich mix of tomatoes and onions that are seasoned perpectly. Our waitress remembered to fill our drinks, and what we were drinking with a great personality and they allow you to bring your liqour but call and make sure first i didnt my self but seen it on the menu $50 for 2 ribeyes but well worth it
