You want the best rare burger in Charlotte go to Noble's at lunch, Their french fries at also great. 5Guys also has great fries but just an average burger.
This is a high end restaurant that is a good choice to take out of town guests to. Their extensive menu has something to please everybody at dinner and it is all very good. 
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsOne of the Best!: One of my favorite restaurants in the Queen City. The food is always excellent; as well as the service. Great variety of dishes. Best salad involves lightly fried oysters surrounding a bed of greens with a great vinigarette, Favorite entrees include the TASTY BEEF TENDERLOIN (best in charlotte, better than the steakhouses), and the addictive NOBLES SALMON (i crave this). The flourless chocolate cake or bread pudding highlight the desserts!
