| About: | Dim Sum is true to its name. It offers an authentic dim sum menu with all the trappings of a similar establishment in San Francisco or Hong Kong. Patrons gather around massive family-size tables as carts roll by with dumplings, rice, roast duck, sesame balls, and all the rest. Dim Sum's menu is divided into two sections: one half lists "Americanized" Chinese food, while the other lists Chinese Chinese food. The latter is where you will find beloved delicacies such as chicken feet and tripe. Be aware that for this authentic dim sum experience, the prices are a bit steeper than your run-of-the-mill takeout joint. |

I don't know why people keep saying this place is so good?? The service was HORRIBLE!! 4 of my coworkers and I ordered from this place and the cashier gave me the biggest additude for having a large order! It didn't make any since because a large order means a large bill for them. They acted like they were the customers and I needed to cater to them!!! And to boot, the food was beyond horrible; it was grotesque. I ordered from the authentic menu and had to throw it away. My coworkers were disappointed too. I will never..ever step foot in this place again.
This place is great. This is one of the most authentic tasting places in Charlotte. Dim Sum on Saturdays and Sundays is a good time to go when they roll the carts around and you can pick your meal right then and there. It's a good idea to go with a few close friends, have a pot of green tea and just share a great meal together.
I love Dim Sum! My mom and I have been going for years, everyone knows us lol. The egg foo young, pepper steak, garlic chicken etc etc are delicious. Even the hot and sour soup is great. You should try it, lunch is priced well, with plenty to fill you up or even share!
