I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. We were greeted by live jazz as soon as we opened the door. Friendly staff was awaiting our seating preference, and we were seated promptly. Our fried crawfish appetizer was delicious and served quickly. Our entrees were absolutely incredible. As a Cajun connoisseur, let me say that not everyone can do authentic etoufee. These guys have it down to a science. My wife's fillet was SUPERB. To say it was well worth market price would be an understatement. Mother's Creole was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Everything was hot and fresh, and the portions were just right. Not so much that you have to take it home, but you will not leave hungry. I couldn't think of a single thing that I would change about this restaurant, save our server. She was somewhat inattentive, but in all fairness, I am hard to please when it comes to service. I also overheard her mentioning working several double shifts, so most likely she was tired. Make your reservation soon! Not to be missed!

Yummy: I loved the jazz atmosphere and the food is to die for! I enjoy the spices and the different flavors. Too crowded, and always going to hit two people if you stretch out your arms. Not for people who want a nice conversation.

While is food is excellent the portion size has shrinked. Before it was too much to eat, now you get just enough along with increased prices.
