About:	The Tremont Music Hall is a hot spot for popular rock and alternative music concerts. The venue can hold up to 1,000 people but maintains a very informal atmosphere with no seats more than 50 feet from the band. It books only original groups playing (among others) Modern Rock, Indie Rock, Punk, Metal, or Roots Rock. Also available within the Tremont is The Casbah, an even more intimate setting that features local and regional musicians. They are open every Friday and Saturday and also during the week as bookings are scheduled. Listings are available on the website.

Great place all around: I went to see Type O Negative
And Was very pleased. The staff was polite and Friendly they made sure no one got out of hand and everyone had a great time

Keyed.....: Just moved to the area from San Diego, and was hoping to find a nice venue to catch some shows. Found that Tremont was bringing in Less Than Jake and Catch 22. I was super stoked....then I left the show. Found that my Land Rover had been keyed terribly - cost me $700. Good shows, but be prepared to run into some young punks who like to destroy other people's property.

best place in the carolinas to see a show!: after growin up in DC i had a culture shock moving to the south and finding NO places to see shows. then i was introduced to the tremont, thank you friends!!!!!!
