User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsIncorrect Diagnosis!!! On vacation, we drove our 2006 Toyota Prius down to Fayetteville, NC from Minnesota to visit family. There was a small whining noise coming from the front. We suspected the wheel bearing was shot. Took it to Rick Hendrick Toyota for an oil change and tire rotation, wanted them to also look at what could be causing the noise - explained that we thought it was the wheel bearing; they looked at it, said the problem was our tires!! Drove 1200 miles back to Minnesota, noise got worse, took it to a local Toyota Dealer who immediately said it was our wheel bearing - would probably cost $600 to fix; however upon further review, said that since we drove it so many miles with a bad bearing, it now affected the steering linkage and backing plate, which is going to cost us an additional $300 to fix!! Not to mention that our safety was in jeopardy from driving an unsafe car for 1200 miles! I will never return to this dealer, nor would I recommend anyone else!!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsOver the last 5 years, I've purchased 3 cars from Rick Hendrick Toyota in Fayetteville...and I have had them perform all scheduled maintenance every time. A quality operation from top to bottom. I noticed they won "Best New Car Dealer" in the local weekly news magazine. They deserve it. I highly recommend them to you!
