Very good place to have eastern style BBQ. I love the cole slaw and the fish as well. Now I have to find a place that makes great Bruniswick Stew.

There is a place called the Fort Mill BBQ Company that just opened and makes really good Brunswick Stew along with great pulled pork, ribs, sausage, brisket, smoked chicken and turkey breast.

I recently moved to North Carolina from San Antonio, Texas for work. Upon learning of my affinity for good BBQ, several of my new co-workers lapsed eloquently about the "delicious eastern-style barbeque" that Bill Spoon cooks up. So one afternoon we went to try out this well-loved Charlotte BBQ joint. Put simply, I was totally underwhelmed. That's the best way I can put it. Overall, the pork is average, and a bit dry; and the sauce, if you can call it that, is essentially just vinegar with spices floating around in it. I grew up on the thicker, spicier tomato-based sauce that Texas is famous for, and was confused upon seeing the runny yellowish sauce at B. Spoon's. Being totally honest, comparing Bill Spoons BBQ to Texas style BBQ, or any non-eastern-style BBQ, is like comparing China to Mexico. If you're not accustomed to Eastern style BBQ, don't expect to get your BBQ fix quenched at Bill Spoons

We love this place.: This restaurant has THE BEST Eastern style 'cue in the country. You will not be disappointed. The wait staff treats you like family, the restaurant is spotless, and the food is the best.
