User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsMoved here from Niagara Falls 5 years ago and have tried all the local southern style BBQ places in the area.This place out shines them all.One problem is their hours,not open every day and only at certain times,call first to make sure but get there,it's worth it!!!
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsIt's A Little Hard To Find: but worth it. This tiny BBQ joint serves some of the best chopped pork in eastern NC. The BBQ is peppery, tender, moist, and smokey. The white slaw mates well with the Cue, and the hush puppies are solid. They serve a daily special with a choice of veggies, all of which are good. They also serve sndwiches, but hold off on the hot dog - not their best work. A line forms to order at the counter, and service can be slow even with a moderate crowd. Calling in your order doesn't seem to speed thing along, but the barbecue is worth a little wait.
