Ruby Tuesday store #2769, is located. I am writing to you to let you know of the unlawful and unmoral act that was done on my card. On Saturday 19, 2009, at 9:34pm, my husband and I went into this Ruby Tuesday for some desert, because this day was his birthday, so I wanted to take him out before our movie was showing. Anyway, we ordered a Blondie for two and cookies, and Tea and water. Kelly, Server #1121 was our waitress. The total of our order was $11.19. When I signed the receipt, I circled the amount, placed a big zero with a slash over it on the tip line, to show that there was no tip being given. On the total line I wrote in $11.19 and signed on the signature line. Well, Monday I researched my account and saw that there was a charge of $14.19 from Ruby Tuesday. Luckily, I still had the receipt. So, I called the restaurant and spoke with the Manager that was on duty and to the District Manager, I believe his name is Creg. They both told me that this would be handled and they would take care of it. They said that they would call the department that handles this, so that I could get the amount back. I am utterly and truly furious that Kelly would forge the amount so that she could get her little cut. The manager stated there was no need for me to come up there, but to me that is stealing and forgery. I went up there anyway so that she can see that 1. you can still see where I had wrote in zero on the tip line and the total amount of $11.19 and then my signature. 2. that the receipt that was given to me to keep for my records also said $11.19. The manager showed me the receipt that you all keep for your records, what I saw made my blood pressure raise sky high. Kelly #1121 forged my writing and manipulated the receipt, so that it would look like I put a tip on the receipt. For one, how she wrote the numbers is not my writing, I do not close my fours off as she done and and I do not curve my three's as she had done. I write much bigger than that. This type of behavior and conduct should NOT be overlooked. You have an employee who is forging amounts on your customers receipts, so that she can make money on the side without them knowing. Thank God that I am one of those people who actually check up on their accounts. This is very poor, no this is beyond that. This is unspeakable. I don't care that the amount that was forged was only $3 dollars, it was money that I did not authorize or write down and it is my money. In my book this is forgery which is an unlawful act. Best believe word if mouth travels fast and believe me, I have talked to everyone I know about this to let them know what was done at this restaurant. There is no telling how many other customers she has done this to. If she still has her job after this incident, may God have mercy on all of their conscious and their business. It would be beyond my moral thoughts as to why she would still have a job there after basically stealing from a customer and forging a document.
I remember going to Ruby Tuesdays once with my family when I was younger, and my best memory was the HUGE burger that had a steak knife in it, and the wonderful fries.
I went there a few weeks ago with my daughter, and I was very disappointed. The burger has shrunken ALOT and I recieved about 10 fries. Never going there again.
The servers just stood near the kitchen gossiping the entire time.
Go for the Burgers: Rubys Tuesday is a best place to get a goood burger to eat. The service is not all that great so the food makes it up for that.
