As a former Olive Garden server on the Las Vegas strip I was completely astonished at how HORRIBLE the food and service were in Fayetteville. We figured it was just bad timing, and tried again, we all love Olive Garden food. However, upon returning for another go, we were again amazed by the lack of service and the pathetic food. We had such a bad experience we were laughing and near tears. We seriously believed we were on hidden camera. It was a miserable experience, my husband and I left angry, and our children were sad. We will never return to the olive garden in Fayetteville!!! Can't wait until the new one in Southern Pines opens, we miss GOOD olive garden food! As a former employee I was emberassed! Our salad was 80% carrots, our bread wasn't even warm, and our soup was liquid! we looked upset and the manager kept walking by and never spoke to us.... we were the only table on that side of the restaurant! It took 45 minutes to get our drinks to the table. After the meal it took another half hour to get our check! It was really annoying!

I am stationed at Ft. Bragg and I took my wife out to Olive Garden for our 7th year Anniversary. The service was lacking at best. Our waitress never brought our drinks, the salad bowl was half full, and she only brought us three breadsticks. She never really came back to check on us after she brought our main dish. Whatever happened to good quality service? Olive Garden must being doing well to treat their customers so poorly.
