User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsi get full off the hushpuppies before i even get my food..which it only takes like 10 mins to get..haha..this place is so good..ive worked at two other bbq and seafood resturants ( russells and johns bbq) and i just cant help but go into mamas kitchen and pick up the menu and start comparing prices...mamas kitchens prices are soooo good and affordable ..and the food is sooo good...i got the grilled marinated chicken and OH MY GOSH its the best everrrr!!!...i love this place...very cozy and friendly...and the servers are soo sweet and nice...i love there tea there....uhh i could go on and on about how good it is and still not get my point across..haha PLEASE SO THERE and try it if you havent...you'll be very glad you did

i just want to say thank you for the nice reviews about mama's kitchen. my parents own it and they work very hard to try to keep all of our customers happy and at times it is very stressful. thank you!

Wonderful little restaurant: A friend of mine told me about this restaurant. Her parents use to be regulars several years ago. I am now a frequent patron. The drive from Asheboro is worth it !! Try the FRIED DILL PICKLES !!! Every thing I have eaten here has been great. The only complaint (very small) is that it is a bit dark inside--a little more lighting would be nice.
