Elizabeth's Pizza is my favorite pizza joint in Wilmington. My nephew
used to work for a restaurant supply company in Wilmington and he turned me on to it back in the mid 90's. We hit it one evening for subs, and I was hooked. Their pizza reminds me of my absolute favorite of all times which was LaStrada in Charlotte, N.C., but it's actually better than LaStrada. I can't come to Wilmington without eating there several times. The wait staff is perfect for the type restaurant it is. They are cool / hip without being exclusive. The ice tea is good, too (I'm southern and got to have my ice tea!). I was on a diet last year when we were there and I got a salad. The salad was perfect and really filling, No weird brown lettuce, everything tasted like it was picked 2 minutes before they made the salad.
I recommend Elizabeth's Pizza wholeheartedly. Eat there week of 07/12/09 and you may see me, I'll be there every chance I get!

Went there for lunch recently with my wife. We each ordered the build your own salad. It was great. Chose from 3 different greens, 8 or so cheeses, around 20 other ingredients, and 8 or so meats. It took a while to arrive but the place was busy (for obvious reasons) and the salads were completely custom made from scratch. Our server was very accommodating, friendly, and prompt. The owner seems to take a lot of pride in keeping his customers happy because you'll often see him checking in with his customers.
The atmosphere is comfortable, cozy and lively. Looks like there might be a lot of regular customers of all ages and backgrounds.
Other times I've been there for dinner and had the Tortellini Shamino and it is the bomb! It's very well priced and I always have leftovers to take home. But the sauce is the key---thick flavorful marinara type sauce that they make themselves. I don't know what's in it but it sure makes you want to come back for more!
