User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsMy wife and I (along with my In-laws) made a trip to Pinehurst for her Grandmothers birthday. We had a reservation for five at Dugan's Pub to celebrate the occasion. We are all fans of traditional pub fare and were looking forward to a leisurely meal with family. We arrived, on time, and ordered drinks and appetizers. We finished appetizers before ordering dinner. In the middle of dinner, and just after receiving a bottle of wine and drinks, we were informed by our waitress that we had less than twenty-five minutes to finish eating and leave the table so that another party could be seated. When we asked another staff member about this, we were rudely told that we had taken too long to order dinner. When we asked for a manager, he refused to even come to our table and speak to us! I have never been treated so poorly from anyone in the service industry, and I was surprised to find such horrible service in the beautiful village of Pinehurst. If being treated like a valued customer and not an unwanted house guest is important to you, then I suggest avoiding Dugan's Pub!

Great Pub: Get the Fish & Chips or a Reuben. Get a pint of Harps and enjoy. The only drawback of this pub is that the bar area is too small. That said, this is a great Pinehurst institution.
