Daddy macs is one of the best places i have ever eaten. Their crab dip is amazing as well as their ceasar salads and loaded baked potatos. I live on topsail and it is deffentially my first choice for eating out. There is a beautiful view and nice wait staff as well :)

The tuna and flounder were excellent! The chicken and pasta mad someone in our party very ill. The service was pleasant and efficient.

This is the WORST food in Surf City if you want a good ribeye steak. My son and I ordered ours cooked medium and give them credit they did that right. However, fully half of both steaks were globs of fat and when I told the waitress she looked puzzled?? She called her supervisor who came to our table and took a close look at both and said with confidence, "That is about the usual amount of fat in our steaks". The only thing left on my plate was this huge pile of fat and part of the potato and that's the response!? Then I stated that it was the most fat in a ribeye steak I had ever seen and they offered to cook another steak for my son. He had barely touched his meal AFTER I separated the fat from the steak. We were through eating - they should have offered to discount the bill or take off the price of one of the meals. Daddy Mac's is way over rated; when you pay close to $20.00 per meal you should get an excellent steak. Another person at our table sent back their order of shrimp which was cold when it arrived. One star based on the beach front view.
