User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsthe food and service were poor. don't know what was going on. food arrived greasy and cold. had to be cooked again. my 9 year ol wouold not eat her chicken tenders because they were hard as rocks. my 15 year olds ceasar salad was edible, however it did not the ceasar dressing in the bottom of the bowl as is with the usual ceaser salad. they forgot to put any dressing on the salad. We spoke with the managers Skip and Dawn on 2 different occasions. they were rude and acted though it was our fault we had poor service and cold food. I would tell all to stay away from this hole in the wall RIPOFF!!!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI almost didn't take my chances on this restaurant because of the 2 people that gave it a 1 & 2 star rating and bad review, but I must say that I am so GLAD I did! My belly is full of delicious seafood and everything was absolutely PERFECT! Atmosphere was great, service was great, drinks were great, and food was great.... what else can I say? Everything was GREAT! I would recommend Hieronymus to anyone and I will surly be going back for 2nds!

We went there because it is an old and established business in Wilmington. We were very disappointed. My crab stuffed flounder did not taste like crab or flounder, I'm not sure what it tasted like. My wife's fried scallops were mushy. My 7 yr old grandson would not eat any of his chicken fingers because they were hard as a rock. All in all I would not recommend this place to anyone.
