Truth of matter is..food was Okay, spoons and plateware were far worn out.. A over weight white gurl as my waitress was the first turn off..then seeing dried food on the wall next to my seat made my stomach turn as the head cook came out to smoke his cig in the dinning area..

Sad its the only Thai food in 50 miles.
Fact is in southport restaurants are at a small limit, this maybe reason their still in business..not to many other choices if stuck in town.

I LOVE this place. I only get to Kure Beach once every few years, but one of the things I look forward to the most is taking the ferry to Southport for THAI PEPPERS! My food has always been amazing! Not only that, but the service is always so good I know I can get to THAI PEPPERS at 5 when they open and still make the last ferry back to the beach by 6:15. What an unexpected treasure! To the person who had the bad experience, I wish I had a frozen section like yours at my local grocers. If it's better than THAI PEPPERS it must be totally amazing! Sorry you had a bad visit. Try them again! Speaking from experience, all restaurants have off nights- new waitstaff, a cook walks out or no-shows... give 'em another chance! And this time try the Pad Ped with pork. WOW!!!!!

I think this place was just awful. The service was terrible, we waited a long time for the food to arrive - then the order was messed and frankly the food was terrible - I have eaten alot better out of the frozen food department of my local grocery store. I wouldn't recommend it all all.
