Everything was fantastic. The service was superb. The food was outstanding, especially the Seafood Lasagna. Yumm! The prices were reasonable. Dinning on the water was a treat and the atmosphere was much nicer than some of the seafood restaurants in the area.
This place packs as many tables in as they can fit so it is very loud to start with. We had to wait 20 minutes so stopped in the bar and ordered frozen margaritas. They only have one blender in the bar so we had to wait and then they came out with no ice and very little liquor. Very disappointing start. When we got seated, it was very loud with tables so close by. My wife ordered a steak well done but it wasn't cooked right - they basically burnt the outside and left the inside pink. The rest of our food was OK (not terrible but not great either) but we ended up spending $100 in food and drinks for two adults and two kids - the food was just OK and the atmosphere was lousy. On top of that the bar service was not that great and we had encounters with a few waitstaff that were less than friendly. We will NOT be back. Very disappointing.
I have been eating at this restaurant for over 20 years and still think it is one of the best restaurants for the price and the service. The wait staff is always top notch and the manager almost always visits your table to ask if everything was OK. The price really isn't bad considering this is a tourist destination. My favorite is the fried oysters, shrimp, and crab cakes. The soft shelled crab is also very good. You will not be disappointed.
