This pizza is nothing special.... their pizza, menu and service is well below par. I am a local and have been there once and will not return.

Being first time visitors to the island, we figured how bad could pizza be. We ended up being pleasantly surprised! It was one of the best pizzas we've ever had. So good in fact we went back a second time later in the week.

Working bar hours on the island has forced me to order out often. Over the years, I've gotten tired of most of the take outs. The chains especially. However, I've NEVER tired of Long Island. The pizza is soooooo good and the calzones are huge! For those of you that have been up North, you have most likely had some really great pizza. I lived in Pa. for a while and Long Island is the only place that I've found that compares. Talk about lucky to find a place like this on the island. Everything is made to order and you can tell that they're passionate about not only the taste of their dishes and pies, but the quality as well. Anyway, I figured after all these years, I at least owed them a couple of minutes to post the compliment they deserve. If you make it out to this part of the coast, bring your shirt and sandals (required) and your appetite. You WILL NOT be disappointed.
