The room was clean and had all the normal amenities: wireless Internet access, fridge, safe, iron & board and complimentary toiletries in the bathroom. Even a robe to wear when making a midnight forage for food! The hotel as a weight room, an indoor pool (125 degrees in the room though), a whirlpool, an outdoor pool and of course, access to the beach!
Unfortunately, the staff is unconcerned about fellow guests screaming in the halls at 2am, throwing water balloons off the balcony at midnight and whether or not one can sleep through the night with all this disturbance.
I do not recommend eating at the hotel restaurants (all use the same kitchen). The service is slow and the food is bland. There are 1000 restaurants, so other food is not a problem.
I also recommend bringing your own snacks and beverages to your room because the vending machines are always empty.
There was no concierge and no bellhop.
The hotel is not a bad place to stay, but it helps to know these things in advance!
Very nice!: This hotel hosted the Marine Corps Ball that I attended. Great banquet room. The staff was friendly, and the ocean right behind the hotel was spectacular. I wouldnt mind going back to visit again.
