See for yourself. We asked our concierge and the manager at the local Harris Teeter and everyone gave this place the nod. I can see why, we had a great dinner and prices were reasonable. Do not go to Bridgetender - mediocre food and overpriced.

Check out the website for a real look at this place. Its small and casual with nice menu.

South Beach was the best dinner we had on Wrightsville Beach.

I have been going to this restaurant for eight years and it has only gotten better. They serve the freshest local seafood on the beach. The previous reviews are hard to believe. This place has maybe a dozen tables (tourist trap?) and is consistently voted by locals as the best on the beach. Expensive - you must be kidding!!! Most dinners are below $20 and come with sides and a salad.I don't know where the erviewer is from but down here health inspector do not take bribes. The last time I was in in November they had a 100 grade card - you can't buy that.
A broken A/C - my God it happens. How was the food???

If you are in the area - just ask a local.

very expensive for what you get and how you get it. they know tourists will pay anything on vacation and take advantage of it.
not the cleanest either. another tourist trap, sad to say. shame on you.
