I recently got my hair permanently straightened at another salon and needed a new cut for my new look. I had spent 29 years with very curly hair, always pulling it up into a bun or ponytail, thus, I definitely had no clue how to style my new straight locks. My sister and many of her friends recommended Sharon at Advanced Attractions. Sharon took them time to talk to me about what I wanted and looked at a magazine of hairstyles that I earmarked even before I got into her chair. I also wanted some highlights, but have dark brown hair. I didn't want to overprocess my hair after the straightner and didn't want to look like something from the 80's. Sharon suggested a very subtle highlight (without using bleach) and some lowlights. We continued to discuss hair style. I loved the concept of bangs (never had them) and Sharon recommended long chin-length "bangs" since bangs around eye length would not go with my faceshape. She also said that if my hair isn't already trained for bangs, that I would have to constantly fight and style it to get it to fall properly. Although a little disappointed, by the time I got to look at the final result, I was ecstatic! I love my new hair and love Sharon's service!
