On a recent trip to the NC coast, during the Labor Day weekend and post week, I spent the day in Beaufort. It was with out a doubt the worst historic town I have ever been to. This was one of the restaurants that we ATTEMPTED to eat in. However, the entire staff was completely rude. We were told we couldn't sit down and the wait would be an hour in such a manner that it would have been more efficient and less rude if they had just said, please leave. I would never visit this establishment again, nor would I visit the Beaufort area again. If you are looking for beautiful coast and that charming southern hospitality you'd expect for a historic southern town, go further south. Charleston, Savannah, and St. Simons Island would be far far more enjoyable.

The Double cheeseburgers are absolutly fantastic and the hot dogs are great. The meatless chili is different but very nice. The shrimpburgers have enough shrimp for two of em! :)

My only problem with the place is that they don't have draft beer. They NEED draft beer.

For the fun of it: Best burgers in Beaufort, excellant clam chowder and steamed shrimp, old and classic atmosphere. Best bang for the buck. Take the family and leave with money in your pocket.
