if a good bagel is what you are after, you should go to wal-mart and get a bag of lenders bagels. the ones from here (in my experiences) are always overly hard, have a funny taste to them and are usually uncut. If you try to heat them or toast them to soften them up, some kind of miraculous molecular change occurs, turning an ordinary looking bagel into a concrete tooth breaking disaster.

They do however have great lunch sandwiches though, just don't ask for extra turkey on your sandwich, it seems like it almost doubles the price.

All in all, CB isn't a bad place, you just have to watch what you get and check it before leaving.

Oh and there are a ton of snobs that go in and out of there, you know the ones that think they are better than you, so the atmosphere can be thick sometimes.

Doesn't stop me from going though.

Closed Sundays!: We love getting our bagels from this restaurant. They always taste fresh and are a good size. The only complaint we have is that they are closed on Sunday.

best in town: I always enjoy eating at carolina bagel.The service is excellent, the waitresses there seem to know most people by name,and its just a nice atmosphere.If you want a good sandwich the "oakracoke " is very good.the restaurant is small and everything is made to order ,so dont go if you're in a hurry!
