First the positives: The prices aren't too bad, and the staff was always friendly. My son liked to go there everyday. Negatives: the staff did not have sufficient education in my opinion. They definitely don't have the ability to deal with children with any kind of special needs in my opinion. I didn't see enough interaction between the caregivers and the children. Snacks seemed to always be junk food. My son was taught religion which I found to be completely inappropriate being that this facility does not advertise as being associated with any one religion.
My daughter attended here for two months. Please be aware that they refuse to put sunscreen on your children, even with a note from the doctor. The office staff was rude, and refused to honor my requests, and disregarded the literature I provided on the importance of sun protection on small children. We have a history of skin cancer in our family, and their indifference for the health of the children in their care was enough for me to pull my child out. I definately wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who cares about the well being of their children.
I liked it: My child has attended children's castle childcare for 6 months now. The staff are always friendly and willing to help in anyway they can. I am greeted everyday by management and other staff members. At first, my child had an adjustment problem, as it was her first daycare she had attended. The staff and management were so helpful in the process of me dropping her off. It made me feel so comfortable with leaving her there. I knew that my daughter would be taken well care of while I was at work. And knowing that I could go online and view her was just an extra. I felt so comfortable with leaving her at children's castle. I would recommend this childcare facility to anyone.

Here at children's castle we only administer medicine that is life threatening. Epie pen, asthma medicine etc. Sunscreen is not a life threatening medication. When the children are here, they are only outside twice daily weather permitting, for only 30 minutes, we use our judgement on how long they should stay out when it is hot,and they have shade outside that they play under. If the suncreen is put on the child in the morning, it should be enough for the entire day. We also go by the flags that are on the base during the summer. Black flag-they don't go out at all, red flag-10 minutes; yellow flag-20 minutes; green 30 minutes. We also encourage parents to come at their lunch time if able, and they can apply more suncreen then. Also, they could wear a hat. It is a state requirement that children go out twice daily. Office personnel were never rude to this parent, she just was upset because we couldn't put sunscreen on her child.
