Excellent Sushi, Excellent Service, just the smoke: yes, i don't like cigarette smoke when i eat, i admit it. here, there is a smoking section right next to the sushi bar, and even though there is a wall, still smell it if someone is there.
other than that, this is excellent sushi/sashimi, and one of the most customer service restaurants i have been too. i frequent this place when there on business (3-4 times a year). their salmon sashimi platter is wonderful. for about 9 dollars, you get a whopping 9-10 big pieces. on thursday nites, they have $1.50 sushi/sashimi. you cannot beat that!!!!!!!! pile up, they want you too!
the wait staff are wonderful. attentive, pleasent, very eager to please. the sushi chef is a delight! friendly and personable, if you sit at the bar, you will be engaged and enjoy it. he is also generous (samples at time)to his sushi bar customers. i only wish they had a tip jar for him, but i think they split the main ticket tip, so i try to tip a tad extra.
in eastern nc, outside of Toyama in E.City, this is some of the best sushi i think you can find! for a unique taste, try the morehead roll. not true sushi, but a shimp tempura roll that is refried. it is big, warm, and oh so tasty!!!! the tuna and white tuna are very good. yellowtail leaves a bit to be desired to me, but not horrible...........you don't get much ikura in an order so maybe get that on $1.50 nite. they have some creative rolls as well, and a nice portion of seaweed salad. the sushi bar is small, but quaint, and i believe most will enjoy...........
my only request is do away w. the smoking section next to it..........
Need some money: They cook right in front of you. It is a really good place to eat, it is a good place to go once and twice a year or a good place to go on a date. It isn't that cheap
Great Hibachi and Sushi!: Very good. Sushi was super fresh tasting. Hibachi food was not too salty and very flavorful. You have to be willing to pay $18 to $22 for your meal, but this is about what hibachi places go for so I would highly recommend trying this one.

Ok, This is dinner and a show...Or you can go to the sushi bar and not deal with the show in front of you. We go 68 times a month if not more. It is a great place and you dont have to spend a lot. If you want steak, lobster, shrimp and scal. you will spend 30 bucks but you can get a full dinner of steak, chicken or shrimp with soup, salad, rice, and veggies for 14.00...so it is not bad. ALSO you can go on sunday between 12-4 and get steak, chicken and shrimp wiht soup salad rice and veggies for 9.00 so ery great price again for dinner and a show!
