I ATTEMTED TO PURCHASE A gARDEN TRACTOR MOWER ON THE MONDAY THE 9TH OF March. It had a large price tag of 1499.00 and I went inside and ask a person in the lawn and garden dept for help about the mower. I ask him if the price was right and pointed out that that the one behind just like it had a different price, He assured me that the price was right and . I proceeded to purchase the mower on my Lowe's card. And I went home to get my truck to pick it up. When I returned the lawn and garden person started to load the mower than stopped and said it had the wrong price. And that after paying for the mower that they could sell me a different mower than they put the name on so they would know it was mine. They took me back inside where they refused to sell me they mower at the agreed price. And that I would have to take a lawn mower not the garden tractor I picked out and paid for. They refunded my credit card and sent me out unhappy. I did ask the person and did inform the zone manager that i had ask about the price and they refused to accept their mistake . I was always under the thought that the price marked was the price you had to pay. Not take your money and then try to give you something different. Maybe Lowes has changed their policy and I would certianly like to know that if something is priced it may not be the price you will have to pay.
