My family loves Mike's Farm. The food in their restaurant is delicous! Everytime we have guests we take them there and always hear how much they loved it. :) We've been mulitple times and it hasn't let us down yet.

This is a truly unique restaurant. It is the most common place for me to take house guests when visiting my home in Onslow County. The food is incredible, although there is minimal selection. After waiting on the massive wraparound front porch, gazing over the beautiful landscape, when you name is called, you'll pay up front a flat rate. When you're seated in the restaurant, they'll first bring out pitchers of sweet tea, coke, or whatever other non-alcoholic drink of your liking. Then they'll bring out baskets of ham bisquits. Don't fall for it--the plan is for you to stuff yourself on bisquits before the main course comes out. Restrain yourself; save room! In short time they'll bring out plates of roast pork, fried chicken, homemade macaroni casserole, corn, potatoes, gravy, and green beans. It's a family-style meal at its finest. They'll bring out as many servings as you can stomach. But save room for desert. They offer several choices of desert such as cheesecake and pumpkin pie. Then finish it off with a cup of coffee and stop in their gift shop on the way out.
They have hayrides in the fall and sell christmas trees in the winter.
It's not cheap, but it's well worth it. On nice weekends, expect up to a half hour wait for large parties.

I bought my wedding cake from the bakery and it looked horrible! It looked like an amateur made it. I hate looking at the pics. of my wedding cake and everyone can tell I didn't like it because they don't see any pictures of it in any of my wedding photos. The cake looked NOTHING like the pictures on their website. I had a picture of a cake with fondant frosting and they put regular frosting on it. The color was NOTHING like the color I showed in the picture. The cake leaned. For a little extra $ I should've just went with a better company.
