I totally agree with all of the comments about the terrible service and RUDE owner. We have been coming to Beech mountain for years and we have found that the tastiness of the pizza is in direct proportion to the rudeness of the management. I must confess that we still eat there anyway. Glutton for punishment!
We had visited at peak season before, and had a good experience, with a reasonable wait time considering the crowd. This time however, was awful. When we placed our order, they said it would be ready in 30 minutes. After 45 minutes, I inquired how much longer, and they said 5 more minutes. Ten minutes later, I asked again, and shortly they had it for us. However, the cashiers daughter who also works there became irate that we would question their service. She started yelling at me, and then, while our two families including 3 small children under age 7 were eating, she called the police and made false accusations about us. They said she (owners daughter, probably never worked out in real workplace away from parents) wanted us to leave or would charge us with trespassing. We were absolutely amazed at the total lack of concern for customer service. Evidently most of their business is from tourists, so they do not feel the need to care how they treat people. Neither I nor any of my friends will return. If you go and wonder about anything, do not ask, as they will call the police on you. The girl simply is a liar who wanted to have the last word and feel important.
What a fantastic place for families! This place has it all: food (pasta, pizza, salads, subs, ice cream and more), arcade games, coffee, smoothies, miniature golf and the friendliest family running the place! It's a Beech Mountain icon - you've gotta go there.

You are correct--they don't have to treat people good there because they know they have you over a barrel and you are pretty much forced to eat there if you want to eat after night skiing! Customer service is non-existent there!
