Shopps at Farmers Hardware

My husband & I were lucky enough to come across Farmers Hardware when we were visiting the USA in 2007. We went to Boone to see Masts Store, we had already visited the really old one. We had a lovely chat to one of the original owners grandsons (the one on the right in the photo of the 2 brothers)and I seem to remember the young lady with him was either his wife or cousin. We loved the store! I bought quite a few knick knacks there. The other evening we were trying to remember the name of the town and store but just could not recall it. Then I found a card in a drawer from The Bees Knees were I had purchased among other things a couple of lovely wire bud vases with metal flowers in which adorn a small bookcase in my hallway. We so enjoyed our visit to the store and had a really nice chat to (?) Jasonand the young lady. It was good to check out some of the Boone sites and see photos of the store and to be reminded of where it was!We travel a lot of miles whilst in USA, usually we are based in Sour Lake Texas with some wonderful American friends but always try and tour as much as possible as we love America, particularly the classic cars. So 'Hello' to everyone at the wonderful Shoppes at Farmer's Hardware,they are a knick-knack lovers paradise! Maybe we will pop in again on our next trip.Kind regards from Linda in the UK

Great selection of "affordable" purses, scarves, jewelery and fun trinkets. Love the atmosphere, shop personnel and products. Keep doing what you are doing!!!!

Terrific Emporium Shopping on King St. Boone, NC: Your converted hardware store to emporium shoppes are fabulous. Convenient for purchasing Vera Bradley Products, pottery,fashion jewelry, greeting cards, candy, toys...what do you not have !!! The detail for renovations to the old building is great, and your friendly staff make this a must when visiting downtown Boone, NC. Thanks Jason, Brandon, and Ben for a wonderful shopping experience.
