About:This pizza and Italian restaurant is located in the heart of the Black Mountain historic district and is popular with both tourists and locals. There is nothing fancy here, just great pizzas, Italian pasta dishes and American specialties served up in great big helpings and with a not-so-big price tag.     My Father's Pizza was recommended by one of our friends. We went on Sat. We ate outside and enjoyed God's beautiful gift of nature. It was a beautiful day, the atmosphere was great, food delicious, and service was great too. The young lady took our order shortly after we were seated and continue to check on us throughout our visit. We will return again! Oh, the speciality pizza was overly priced -- $12.00 would had been a good price for the med.

    We live in Asheville. We have eaten here a few times, the recent time being last week. It was great pizza. The prices are reasonable. We had a large pizza, half with pepperoni, 2 sodas, a salad and garlic bread. The bill came to $29. You can't beat that! And it was tasty!

    One of my favorite places in the world is My Father's Pizza. The wood-fired pizza is fabulous and the super cheesy pasta is out of this world. The salads are big and full of great fresh items. The service can be a little less than delightful sometimes, but that is often rare if you take the time to get to know your wait staff. It is very inexpensive and as you look around, you see smiles on all the customers' faces.
    BE SURE to check this place out! You will NOT regret it.
