The staff and owners are friendly, and eager to make your dining experience wonderful. If you are visiting Black Mountain and want to experience the "local black mountain" , I would drop by the Veranda to see whats going on.

Dont know where the revewier of Oct. 31 was but it certainly was not The Veranda. I eat there frequently and the food is Fantastic. Daily specials are different and exciting. The owner and his wife are always there and go out of there way to make sure every customer is happy with the food and the service. Ask anybody in Black Mountain where to eat and the will tell you the Veranda

Does it get any better? Awesome service, lovely waitresses, great food, and a very setting-appropriate atmosphere. A great representative for Black Mountain's reputation as "The Front Porch of Western North Carolina.
