do not eat here
The place is quaint, but very touristy. I ate at the counter and had 2 chili dogs and a coke. The bill was close to 9 dollars. Never again!
I was in Brevard just this past weekend and ate at Rocky's for the first time on Saturday. It was so good that we went back Sunday and Monday, too. We would have gone back today but we had to drive home. I ordered the grilled pimento cheese with bacon and my husband ordered a different dog each time we were there. All of the food was truly delicious and the atmosphere was great. My only complaint is that the menu was slightly limited, but the fact that we were able to find things to eat three days in a row is a testament to just how good the limited food they offered is. The ice cream is Edy's but it's not the same ice cream you buy in the grocery store. We ordered a Gold Rush sundae (coffee & chocolate ice cream, caramel & fudge topping, whipped cream and almonds) and it was very tasty. I'm not surprised it was a store-brand ice cream, though. I didn't see any dairy farms while I was out there so I doubt they could make their own ice cream. Really, if you happen to be in Brevard do yourself a favor and stop. You won't be sorry. I'm already missing Brevard and Rocky's.
