Let me tell you all about my experience at this hospital. It is the worst. I have tried it twice. Both times I was taken in immediately and waited in my rooms 4 to 5 hours total. Seeing the doctor and then being discharged in the 4 to 5 hour mark. What gets me is the WAIT, CARE, COMPASSION, EXPLANTIONS, and KINDNESS. Where did these doctors come from? What medical training did they have? Or should I ask did they have any? Let me ask have you ever heard of Rent a Doctor well that is what sees you in Haywood ER. They are contracted out. They have the worst bedside manor. If Haywood can't afford to hire a full staff of regular full time employees you should be ashamed to treat human beings in such a manner to consider risking their lives. Honestly you should reconsider your position Haywood at what you are doing to this community and to the tourist that visit here. Why don't the community consider their urgent care facility and expanding (which does a great job) and help Mission become bigger and greater) just have urgent care centers set up around towns.

HRMC cares about money first.They have to be the slowest hospital in NC.You go in the ER and you wait 2-3 hrs.Then they take you in to the exam room and you wait another hour before you are seen. Then it is another hour before they come back in your room. But I did notice if you are Mexican you get waited on right away.
