User Rating: 3 out of 5 starswe were searching for a restaurant wth good reviews we figured this one would be good it was decent food and prices were reasonable the service was great as well on the sign it said they had been open for 50 years so that was plus i think we would all go back there agan
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI have eaten in small towns and major cities all over the world. This is one of my favorite places that I always visit at least twice when I am in Asheville. Grove Park Inn Ribeyes and Prime Rib at a fraction of the cost. Since it is a family resturaunt, you can also get sandwiches and burgers. Lets face it, when you travel do you want to go pay for a decorated plate or grab a great meal. The waitresses are very friendly and the actual owners are always there to make sure everything is perfect with your meal. Also try the homemade cakes. They are to die for.
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsWow the prices were absolutely amazing as it was an extremely good portion for a meal that cost me 7.50 at dinner. I have only been one time and my dish was meteoker at best, but I'm sure I missed out on some other item that was great. The reason It has a minus star is because of the low budget awful ambience in a restaurant, as it is definately not a place for a date or business clients. It is a great place to go with friends for lunch and a cheap meal. Thank you others on here for the recommendation!

I have eaten here numerous times and never had a bad meal. Portions are very large and prices are as low as they can get. Building is older, but the food, price and quality is what makes this one of the local favorites.
