I had lunch with my aunt and cousin at Annie's in March of this year. It was excellent! Their bakery items were extremely well made, completely yummy, and reasonably priced. The sandwiches we all had were very good, fresh, and filling. I am returning ot the area very soon with my husband and plan to go back to Annie's at least once! The establishment is rather small, so don't plan on eating there with a group, but definitely make it a point to go there and sample some of their home-made goodness!
Fantastic Little Organic Bakery: This little bakery is what it is all about. Small town feel that is wholesome and great. The only draw back are the prices! The price is a little high but I will keep going back.
Not what you'd expect: None of their bread or pastries or anything is really served fresh, except for the sandwhiches. You won't get a decent bakery feeling inside, more like a cafe that bakes their own desserts and breads. They also sell them for outrageous prices, only because they are "natural". I paid $2.00 for one croussiant. All of it is cooked a day ahead of time and served the next morning. The only fresh things there are the coffee and the sandwiches they make for you, which are ridiculously priced as well. Too bad they are the only bakery left in town.
