User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsOne of my fav. mexican restaurants in the Asheville Area. Extremely friendly staff and authentic food. If you like this restaurant, I would also suggest Papa's and Beer. They have two locations. One in Hendersonville and the other by the Biltmore Mall K-mart
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsTake your friends!: I love the food! Everything I have eaten at La Carreta has been great. This is one of those restaurants where the people in the kitchen actually understand how to prepare food, and the taste reflects this. The menus are easy to understand and the staff seems trained to perfection.
I didnt like the 'sports bar' scene going on, but I understand why restaurants offer that - it's easy money for them.
Take your friends to La Carreta and eat, drink and be merry!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe Best Around: I have patronized almost all Mexican restaurants in Asheville since my birthday is Cinco de Mayo. La Carreta has by far the best food and friendliest staff. They don't all speak English but to me that means it is an authentic eatery. Prices are reasonable and portions are perfect. You will not leave hungry. The margaritas are almost as good as mine.....
