Wow, what an ugly comment from the previous reviewer. Have to wonder what his agenda is. My family and I have eaten many times at Doyle's and have always been very happy with the quality of the food and the service. Our out-of-town guests have been equally impressed. I highly recommend Doyle's.
Are you kidding me? Four and a half stars? Do you people have no sense of quality? Or are you just so old that your taste buds no longer work?
The food is over priced and the quality is poor.
A party of four can expect to pay well over one hundred dollars without drinks. The wait staff is friendly. However, that doen't compensate for the kitchen staff.
This is one of my top 5 restaurants in the southeast. Any restautant can have a bad day. I have eaten here at least 15 times and never had anything but great food and service. Doyle is the owner and he wants you to be happy. If you are ever in this area, I would highly recomend you check it out.

Carolyn, I agree that the other reviewer was unnecessarily negative, but I have to wonder about your agenda as well. Like I said to someone else below: yours is also not a review; it's a compliment. It makes me wonder if you're either staff or friends with the owner. It doesn't entice me to eat there. A review would give specifics: what did you order? why do you think it was good? How is the food spiced? what did they do right? what could they improve? what's the atmosphere like? Not everyone has your taste (or mine) in food, atmosphere, etc, so just saying you recommend it implies that you believe everyone thinks and eats like you do. I know Murphy is small, but I bet you've been in the world long enough to know better than that.
