The place is neat because of it's interior decor. Service is good. The pizza has something to be desired. The fries are real good.I would like to revise my rating. Service is still good but the owner is a butt munch. I thought I would treat my 6 grandchildren to a lunch buffet. Only working a 32 hour work week I don't have alot of money so I brought my own drinks. Asked for cups of ice, price quoted was .49 cents each. No big deal. Went to pay and saw sign on counter that said cups without drink .20 cents. Asked dirt bag owner about it and he would not honor the sign. The middle finger to you Billy "charge to much" Lane and your crappy pizza and crappy chicken wings. I will never frequent your over priced nasty pizza joint again. You are a rip off to the hard working people that keep you in business.I hope word of mouth will make you realize you suck.
Interesting restuarant: Pizza Lane is full of nostalgic items, especially those with a Sumter history. There are many decorations, a few older arcade games, and two large TV's which play some of the good old WB cartoons. They keep the lighting dim to give it a movie theatre feel. The servers are usually very nice and the prices are reasonable. There is a pizza buffet at least once a week, and occasional live entertainment (1-2 times per month). The pizza quality is good; but nothing exceptional.
Great Pizza, Local People: My husband and I chose one Saturday afternoon to visit Pizza Lane. It was well before the evening rush of families and after the lunch rush. Rather quiet. The cityscape they have along the walls is fabulous. The Cartoon Room's entrance is done up like a movie theater's. There's the relief of a carosel with the wooden horses along another wall. The only other customers in our room were a birthday party for an all adult family. The room is a bit dark, but I thought that normal since videos played in the room. I faced the TV, but my husband faced away from it. That was fine because the back of the room is a mirror. He could still watch the cartoons as we ate and talked. The service wasn't speedy, but we were checked on several times and our drinks didn't run out. The pizza was very good. It tasted like what I would make if I made it at home, piled with toppings, quality cheeses, a tasty crust, and delicious sauce. We each left there with half of our pizzas, ready for a meal the next day. Value wise, it's about what you would pay for any of the national pizza chains, ~$8 for a medium, ~$10 for a large, ~$12 or $13 for extra large. Now if they delivered, I don't know whether or not they do, that would just be icing on the cake.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! Love the design and food.
Most eating establishments do not allow customers to bring in their own food or drinks from outside sources. If you wanted to save money you should have drank water. I am not sure why you thought bringing your own drinks to a restaurant would be appropriate.
