I think Lexington High School is a terrible school. I think they are very unfair to the average or below average student. If you don't play sports, cheerleader, or a scholar you are totally ignored. The principal won't even respond to parent emails. I have a son that I know is not a perfect angel. I tried many times to get help for him with no luck. Finally the end of March 08 the called me for student intervention. Finally after school is about over. During December he was homebound for surgery. The sent a teacher that did help him some in English but she could not help him in algebra 1 at all. He never got the 18 instructional hours due to him. Like I said earlier if you play sports, cheerleading, band or a scholar you might get some attention but other than that help for the average student is none exsistent. I wish more parents would open up and tell the truth.
