Summerton Diner

There's not a perfect restaraunt any where, but the Summerton Diner is a really good place to eat. And the new owners are precious, godly people - both couples born and raised here. The service is personable, the service is good, and cleanliness? I've never noticed it not clean. I believe they clean that place from top to bottom once a week. The bathrooms have been totally re-done and are very clean (at least the women's bathroom anyway). And the food is good 'ol fashioned home cookin' with a few newer additions that are very yummy. Try the philly cheese steak sandwhich!

Tried to keep going there because my family has loved it for years, but the "diner" is not what it used to be. Very sad to watch a real diner turn into nothing but memories. In my opinion, fast food is better and I hate that stuff.

We have been here several times. The first 2 times everything was great, however, the last 2 times have been terrible. The food has gone downhill & the service is even worse. People were not as friendly as they used to be (I think a lot are new). The food is served with no attention to the plate looking appetizing and the food is just horrible. May be like many other small diners they have gone to more prepared foods and less homemade, either that, or the cook has changed and they are really not very good at what they do. Have no intention of going back anytime soon.
