Down home charm!! While spending some time at the Ft. Jackson - I went out looking for the "pulse of the street". Late one evening I found a nice little diamond in the Old Town Hall Resturant. I had one of their Grinders and I must say it was very good, along with one of their German Style Lagers - simply wonderful.

The bar staff is very friendly and will give you more details about the town of Ridgeway. Apparently - Pig on the Ridge is a local tradition that should not be missed if you are within an hour of driving. I did meet Hanna the Airman - cute as a bug's ear, with knowledge of riding the rapids of South Carolina.

There is an awesome antique auction house in that town - that would be just too difficult to resist if we lived near. If you like quaint little towns with charm and charater - look no further than Ridgeway, SC.
