| About: | When our first Golden Corral restaurant opened in Fayetteville, NC back in 1973, a fledgling Golden Corral Corporation took a confident first step into the restaurant business. From day one, we established the tradition of friendly service, great value and fresh, tasty food. Golden Corral family-style restaurants specialize in the biggest and best buffet available anywhere. Our famous Golden Choice Buffet contains an array of hot meat options, as well as pasta, pizza, fresh vegetable choices, and a selection of carved meats at dinner and on Sundays. We offer tempting baked goods from The Brass Bell Bakery, our famous in-house bakery. Piping hot yeast rolls, muffins, yummy cookies and brownies are baked fresh every fifteen minutes! And talk about a difference! Check out our Steak menu. All our steaks are USDA inspected and are grilled to order. They're always cut fresh daily, for better flavor, juiciness and doneness. The food looks good & taste good. One of the best family resturants I have been in.
User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsMy family was in Columbia for the graduation at Fort Jackson on November 2nd and it turned out that instead of eating the banquet at Fort Jackson for the families we ate at Golden Corral. We eat at the Golden Corral where we live in Nebraska quite a boy and like it a lot. The food at the restaurant in Columbia was as good as we expect at a Golden Corral. What we weren't expecting was that the person at the cash register had no business handling people's credit cards. Our bill was charged once, then it was discovered that the cash person made an error on one drinks and instead of just billing for the drink, the entire bill was charged a second time. So, instead of paying just over $60, which was the price of our meal, we were charged twice and payed about $120, which was billed to a credit card and had we not checked with the company, Golden Corral would have gotten away with cheating us by $60.
