Great customer service! The owners/managers are great people, and really focus on the authenticity of the ingredients and quality of food. HOWEVER - PLEASE BE ADVISED - if you are going to eat here, eat ANYTHING off of the appetizer menu and anything off of the pizza menu. Their pizzas are phenomenal and each flavor combination just as shockingly tasty as the last. You will really be surprised by their pizzas, and in fact I think the phrase "pizza" does a disservice to the authenticity and creativity in their brick oven pizzas. Once again PLEASE DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING BESIDES THEIR APPETIZERS AND PIZZAS!
They have problems with overcooking meat, issues with seasoning rice properly, and altogether, just heed my warning if you read this!
The restaurant atmosphere is great. However, as a Middle Easterner I don't think that the food tastes very authentic (e.g. the rice tastes nothing like any version of Middle Eastern rice). Also, the quality of the food is quite variable depending on the chef. I've never had the same item taste or even appear the same twice in a row (e.g. kabobs sometimes almost burnt, overspiced, etc.)
Yummy yummy more Al Amir for my tummy!: The servers are very attentive. The atmosphere as you walk in the door, is not too impressive, but it is only the entrance. The main dining area is awesome, and has ample room for large families or groups of friends. All the food comes out piping hot, very fresh, and is incredible! I believe their feature dish is Damascus Hummus, and it is for a reason! I highly reccommend that dish with the lamb. Anything on the menu is awesome, however.
