They have good food and the place is pretty friendly. The owner seems to think he's special but he's pretty friendly. His wife is real nice and the tall waitress is a real sweetheart.
I've been there 5 or 6 times. I like the live music there most of the time.
They have one group there that's real good.I think the name of the band is medicine something,
but one of thems name is Greg and another one is John. Theres another guy I want to say his name is Don or Dan. They are good. They do all sorts of music. Not much showmanship but they are good singers and pickers.
They have another band there thats a bit to rowdy for my liking called Freddie and Brandon. The place loses everything I like about it when they are there. I like the guitar player but the bleach blond harmonica player is to full of his self. I think he's going through mid-life or something. He needs to step back because the real show is Brandon Turner, the guitar player.He's one of the best guitar pickers I've seen. After awhile all of the songs sound the same.
They have another band that has a guy playing a wooden box that sounds like a drum. They do okay but it's like watching a band practice. The guys are real nice though.
It's good that Pike's has live music and that's when I go. I don't like karaokee.
I drive by to see who they got playing. If its not that Freddie guy I try to go.
