figures that chef is not there anymore. the new owner is not a nice person
TWIGS IS NOTHING WITHOUT CHEF ROBBY ENNISS!!!!!!!!: WE WERE DISAPOINTED TO FIND CHEF ROBBY ENNISS IS GONE FROM TWIGS. EVEN THOUGH HIS MENU IS STILL THERE,NO ONE CAN DUPLICATE HIS RECIPES. WHEN WE FIND HIM WE'LL LET YOU KNOW. FURTHER MORE I DIDN'T CARE MUCH FOR THE NEW OWNER EITHER.
Our Favorite: My wife and I usually go to Twigs, a small, intimate restaurant, for all of our special occasions. The service is tops. The menu selections are varied and delectable. My personal favorite is a "surf & turf" that features filet mignon and crab cakes. They have a good wine list and recently obtained a permit for cocktails. Don't overlook the desserts.
My only criticism of Twigs is the noise. It is housed in a renovated brick building. There is little inside to absorb and dampen the sound of patrons conversing as they enjoy themselves during their dining experience. When the restaurant is crowded, the din of the conversation can be distracting. Noise is the only reason I didn't score Twigs high on ambiance.

Helmet Vigler is the new chef at Twigs...and he is fantastic! He has reinvented their menu and has hand picked a new selection of wine to pair with his food. It's a shame that Robby has left, but their new chef is proving to be one of the best in the area. Twigs is still under the same ownership.
